A Boy and His Fire

What is it about fire and boys? Is it wired into the Y chromosome? I just don't get it. Middle Peep with Oldest Peep's help discovered how to use the magnifying glass to start a fire. She played alittle with it but really decided it was too hot outside to stay and toil some more. (Yes you read correctly.....TOO HOT......finally!!!!) Middle peep couldn't get enough of it. Papa peep gave him the idea of burning paper. Until now he had been content on making the small pebbles smoke.

The joy is priceless!!!

For both!!!!

  1. Oh my! Is that blue sky I see behind G? Too hot... where is the blow-up pool in the back?

Enjoy the wonderful weather... get that grill going, now you have two men to man the fire.

  4. Yes Blue skies! The prettiest blue skies I have ever seen!!!! I now understand why people stay here. It is worth the wait. Incredible. As I drive over Lake Washington frquesntly it just takes my breath away. I don't care how long it lasts. It is here and we are taking it one day at a time. :-))

One day I will have blue skies everyday and wake up to the sound of the ocean in my backyard like some people!!!!

  5. We seen a boy along the sidewalk on the way to church using a magnifying glass to start a fire. He was quite successful at it and I was a little worried he would burn our church down. Looks like your kids are pretty good at it too. Keep them clear of buildings, lol.
